2023 Landowner Prescribed Fire Classes and Field Training
The Prescribed Fire Classes and Field Training is for landowners, non-0perating landowners, & agency staff: all are welcome. During the training, you will learn how to plan and implement burning on your own land. This training includes the basics of planning, preparation and conducting safe and effective prescribed fire.
Hands-On Fire Science Methods Workshop
This is a workshop for graduate students and early-career professionals conducting research in fire-adapted natural communities. The workshop focuses on standard methods in connecting fuels, weather, and fire behavior to fire effects in grassland ecosystems. Applications for this workshop are due on January 17, 2023.
