
Wildland Fire Academy
April 20 - April 27
Join The Ember Alliance (TEA) for their first-ever Wildland Fire Academy, hosted in partnership with Front Range Community College (FRCC) in Fort Collins, Colorado, this April 2026. This academy is designed for individuals looking to build skills, advance their qualifications, and take the next step in wildland fire and leadership training.
All courses are offered at no cost to participants. While students are responsible for their own travel to and from Fort Collins, we anticipate being able to cover hotel lodging for participants traveling from out of town. Additional lodging and logistics details will be shared with selected applicants. Participants can apply for the following NWCG-certified courses:
- S-131: April 20th (One Day + online pre-course work)
- Students MUST be FFT2 to be eligible for this course
- S-211: April 21st-22nd (Two Days)
- L-280: April 23rd-24th (Two Days + online pre-course work)
- Participants must have experience on incident assignments in operations or support functions.

- Participants must have the Prerequisite training: L-180, Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service.
- S-215: April 25th-27th (Three Days)
- Participants must be an FFT1 to be eligible for this course
