DESCRIPTION:Join us in Bosque County for a hands-on Prescribed Fire Field Day focused on safely using fire as a land management tool. \nParticipants will help conduct an approximately 60‑acre prescribed burn (weather permitting) and learn how fire can improve rangeland health\, reduce wildfire risk\, and manage brush encroachment. \nTopics will include: \n\nBurn planning and objectives\, \nFire behavior\, \nIgnition techniques\,\nEquipment and safety\,\nSmoke management\, and\nTexas laws and regulations related to prescribed burning.\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to participate in the burn from start to finish\, ask questions in the field\, and visit with experienced burn managers and local partners about applying prescribed fire on their own properties. \nThis field day is ideal for landowners\, ranchers\, and natural resource professionals who want practical\, real‑world experience with prescribed fire in Central Texas. \nLocation\n\nLime Rock Ranch\n1908 County Rd 4240\nClifton\, Texas 76634
